Video: Can the Pro Audio and Hi-Fi Communities Unite?

Music creators and audiophiles strangely seem at odds. Is there a way to bridge this divide?

In this video, Emiko (aka @ThatHiFiGirl) and Victoria attempt the impossible. Can they unite the hi-fi and pro audio communities, who have tended to reside in separate camps?

Shouldn’t the people creating the music know best how it should sound when reproduced? Or is the customer (the audience/the audiophile) always right?

While both love music, the worlds of Pro Audio and HiFi strangely seem at odds. If you think there’s a way to bridge this divide between music creators and audiophiles we want to hear from you!

Watch the full video on YouTube to learn how we think it’s possible to unite these groups, and what you could do to help. We promise, it will be fun!

Remember, there is no Hi-Fi community without the music.

What a timely post, Emiko! I’m preparing to open my first audiophile showroom space and I want to invite local musicians over to hear their music on a high end system. I’d love to keep their CDs/vinyl around to demo gear. Loving your videos and your thoughtful ideas. T
