The 2023 Headphone Shootout, presented by Value Electronics and Dealerscope, was recently held in NYC on February 27, 2023. Our Editor-in-Chief, Ian White was one of six judges and Editor-at-Large Chris Boylan was also in attendance.

18 models were compared across five price tiers, with both wired and wireless headphones competing head-to-head.

Note: eCoustics had no say over the headphones entered into the Shootout. We were invited to attend and judge only.  All models were selected by Value Electronics.

    I have a new pair of Focal Elegia ‘phones I got during their recent sale and am just waiting on some new, cool looking balanced cables. It is all about the look as I can not tell any audible difference in cables.
