ZTE today announced the Spro Plus portable smart projector with an 8.4-inch AMOLED touch-screen display that makes it also usable as an Android tablet. The Spro Plus can project an 80-inch image across from just 2.4 meters away. Because it has built-in wi-fi and optional 4G LTE users can stream videos or movies from Netflix, Youtube, or anything from the Google Play Store. Business users can also find it useful for conferences or presentations. It also doubles as a speakerphone with its built-in microphone, and it works with Skype for video calls.
Spro Plus has built-in autofocus and keystone correction to keep images clear no matter where it is placed. It uniquely uses laser instead of LED technology to project at 500lm, the ideal luminescence for either broad daylight or dark rooms, ensuring the best visual experience for users. This generation of Spro comes with an improved projection ratio, over the previous Spro 2 model.
For sound, the Spro Plus features a JBL Audio System, which includes high quality audio outputs via two 4-watt speakers and a clear voice pickup via high performance HARMAN sub-miniature microphones. Its ability to detect voices more than five meters from Spro Plus makes it easy to conduct group meetings in any location.
Price and Availability
The Spro Plus Smart Projector will be available globally by summer 2016.
