Yamaha just introduced their flagship AVENTAGE AV separate components, the CX-A5000 11.2 channel AV preamplifier along with the MX-A5000 11-channel power amplifier.
The craftsmanship and design behind these new components are influenced by Yamaha’s expertise in professional audio, musical instruments and home theater. Both are engineered by ear and offer the fullest expression of the company’s AVENTAGE concept, which has earned widespread accolades from AV professionals since the brand was introduced in 2010.
“Our new preamp and amp are seamlessly matched to offer an entirely new home entertainment experience that will surprise even the most selective customer,” said Bob Goedken, general manager, Yamaha Corporation of America, AV Division. “Like other models in this ultra-performance line, these embody our obsessive attention to detail and granular approach to design. The result is overwhelming power and the absolute purest, best-sounding audio and video reproduction possible.”
Among the many features of the CX-A5000 and MX-A5000 that immerse music and movie fans in entertainment from all types of sources are the preamp’s dual high performance ESS Technology SABRE32 Ultra DACs that ensure extremely accurate sound imaging.
Yamaha’s proprietary Cinema DSP HD creates a detailed and enveloping 360-degree sound field when using front and rear presence speakers. A dedicated second zone graphic user interface makes it simple to select and play any HD video and all audio sources that are available in the main zone in a second room through the Advanced HDMI Zone Switching feature.
