Delta Electronics’ New DLP Projector Utilizes PerkinElmer’s Cermax Xenon to Deliver High Definition, Remarkable Colors, Superior Image Quality and Affordability
Orlando, FL — June 7, 2006 — InfoComm 2006 — Booth # 2451 — PerkinElmer Optoelectronics, a global technology leader in digital imaging, specialty lighting and optical detection technologies, and Delta Electronics, Inc., a major source for visual displays, today announced that they have jointly developed the world’s first Xenon-based, 1080p, single chip, digital light processing (DLP) projector. A prototype of the new projector will be on display at InfoComm 2006, June 7 – 9, 2006 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
By leveraging Cermax Xenon and 1080p resolution, Delta Electronics’ new DLP projector delivers true high definition, remarkable colors and superior image quality, offering customers 1,000 screen lumens and a 12,000:1 contrast ratio through built-in Dynamic Black technology.
