Versatile Car Cradle Antenna Increases Driver Safety and Increases Cell Phone Signal 10 to 15 Times

Wilson Electronics, a leading manufacturer of cellular amplifiers and antennas, has introduced the new “Cradle Plus,” a cell phone car cradle with a built-in antenna. When combined with a Wilson amplifier and an outside antenna, the new Cradle Plus accommodates any hands-free device, and offers improved cellular signal and increased driver safety in any vehicle.

The outside antenna communicates with the cell site, and the built-in cradle antenna communicates with one or multiple cell phones, depending on the amplifier used, significantly improving cell phone performance. With up to 10 times more power than a typical cell phone, the system extends signal range and strength, allowing users to communicate reliably in places they never could before.

“The Cradle Plus is a great choice for people who are looking for better cellular performance on the road,” said Walt Brooks, Wilson Sales Manager. “Using the cradle not only extends your cellular range and gives you better coverage; it allows drivers to keep both hands on the wheel, greatly increasing their safety.”

Wilson’s cell phone Cradle Plus is now available in two complete plug-and-play kits. In one kit (Wilson part # 801213) the Cradle Plus is paired with the Dual-Band Mobile Wireless Amplifier, which accommodates multiple cell phone users. In the other kit (Wilson part # 811214) the Cradle Plus is paired with the SignalBoost Amplifier, which accommodates one cell phone user. Both Cradle Plus kits include Wilson’s popular magnet-mount roof antenna and everything you need for better cellular performance, making them great holiday gifts.

The new Cradle Plus is adjustable to fit any size cell phone and supports any hands-free device such as earbuds and Bluetooth products. It features multiple mounting options and it can be moved easily from one vehicle to another. It is easy to install and works with any of Wilson’s mobile wireless amplifiers.

The Cradle Plus kits will retail for about $249 with the SignalBoost Amplifier or $459 with the Dual-Band Mobile Wireless Amplifier. They will be sold by wireless dealers and Radio Shack franchise stores throughout the United States. Customers can find retail and online dealers of Wilson products listed on the “Dealer Locator” section of http://www.wilsonelectronics.com.
