3-in-1 professional grade wireless headset designed for extremely noisy environments

VXi Corporation the manufacturer behind the BlueParrott brand of wireless headsets, announces the VXi BlueParrott Xpressway™, a companion product to its popular B250-XT headset. Designed specifically for high-noise environments, the Xpressway wireless headset is compatible with most Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones and computers. The convertible headset combines comfort and noise-canceling performance features in a smaller, more streamlined form factor.

The headset’s advanced noise-canceling and Xtreme Noise Suppression™ technologies are designed to block out the drone of city traffic, road noise, airports and the roar of an 18 wheeler’s engine, ensuring crystal-clear conversations.

Bluetooth technology provides wireless connectivity with a functional range of up to 66 feet, providing unrestricted freedom of movement. The Extended Talk feature ensures over 16 hours of continuous talk time and up to 150 hours of standby time with a single charge.

Durable, yet lightweight, the Xpressway can be worn on either ear. It is offered in three popular wearing styles; over-the-ear, over-the-head, and behind-the-neck.

“VXi has been the leader in providing best-in-class headset solutions for high-noise environments. Our customers have told us over and over again how they depend upon VXi’s BlueParrott B250-XT headset when they’re on the road. Now with the Xpressway, our wireless portfolio contains a smaller headset with a choice of wearing styles that utilizes the same superior noise-canceling technology,” says VXi President, Michael Ferguson.

The Xpressway headset features include Multipoint Connection allowing users to easily connect to and switch between two Bluetooth devices such as another cell phone or a laptop. A one-touch multifunction button activates power, call answer/end, voice dial and call waiting commands. With its simplified design, the volume, mute and redial controls are right at users’ fingertips.

“VXi’s Xpressway headset fills an important need for users who find themselves in noisy environments yet need to use their mobile phone to call the office, their customers or home. The Xpressway is ideal for delivery drivers, long-haul truck drivers, road warriors and mobile professionals who, in the past, had to put up with traffic, city and engine noise while on their mobile phone. Now when they’re on the road, users can feel confident that they can hear and be heard,” says Ferguson.

Like the B250-XT, the VXi BlueParrott Xpressway headset is offered at a suggested retail price of US $119.99 and is available at most major truck stops throughout the U.S. and Canada, and through other VXi authorized resellers and e-tailers. Backed by a one year warranty, the Xpressway headset includes a flexible ear hook, headband, neckband, 2 sizes of leatherette and foam ear cushions, AC and DC chargers, and a USB cable for charging via computer.
