Vantage/Legrand, a leading provider of luxury home automation systems, has introduced the latest addition to its line of touchscreens with the newly released TPT1040. This 10.4 inch in-wall mounted touchscreen gives the Vantage System owner a completely customizable interface from which they can access and control their entire home. Lights, Entertainment, Comfort and Security systems can all be accessed and controlled with a simple touch of the screen.

“With home theaters, advanced lighting controls, distributed home audio, complicated HVAC and security systems, today’s luxury home can rival a medium-size commercial building in complexity,” said Vantage Marketing VP Andrew Wale. “What has made Vantage successful for over twenty years is our ability to provide the luxury homeowner with advanced and integrated solutions that allows for easy management and control of their home.”

Designed with the needs of luxury homeowners in mind, the TPT1040 touchscreen provides total control of the Vantage InFusion™ system. “Even though behind the scenes Vantage is controlling the home with a state-of-the-art control system, an integrated TPT1040 touchscreen insures that the homeowner never experiences the complexity, only the enjoyment,” he continued.

Utilizing the simple drag and drop programming of Vantage’s powerful software, the TPT1040 can be infinitely personalized to cater to individual tastes. With preprogrammed libraries, widgets, and other design elements, Vantage dealers can quickly create complex and attractive touchscreen solutions. “Vantage touchscreens not only offer a proven solution that provides the most effective way of interfacing with these complicated subsystems, they also allow infinite display personalization,” said Wale.

The TPT1040 uses an Intel X-Scale processor and runs a Linux operating system, which ensures system reliability and an enhanced user experience. Using the Ethernet to connect to the InFusion system by way of the Vantage Ethernet Bus, the TPT1040 allows support for InFusion Media Center components, including music, photo album display, lighting and more. Bezels for the touchscreen are available in arctic white, pearl black, silver or custom color.

With Vantage’s InFusion Media software, all Vantage touchscreens have the capability to connect with a home theater or digital music library to provide homeowners with easy playback and control of their media library.

Vantage has a touchscreen that is perfect for any room, style or taste. The complete TPT line of Vantage touchscreens vary in size, function and capabilities. For in-wall mounted solutions Vantage offers the TPT1040, TPT650 and the 5.5 inch TPT550. For wireless control, Vantage has the TPT1210-1 and the 7-inch TPT700 portable touchscreens.
