ULTRALINK/XLO UNVEILS THREE NEW INNOVATIVE LINES AT CES 2006
- The Renowned XLO brand spawns two new lines–the XLO HT and HTPRO
- New Ultralink Contractor Series streamlines in-wall installation with tool-free Push-Lock connectors
- UltraPower’s surge protector/power conditioners offer HT automation & $250,000 insurance
CES, Las Vegas, NV and Ontario, California – Ultralink/XLO Products, Incorporated – the industry’s fastest growing manufacturer of audio/video interconnects, cables and power products – brings three new HT accessory lines to this year’s CES. New for 2006: The Ultralink Contractor Series – a premium, CL rated in-wall cable line featuring patented Push-Lock tool-free connector technology; Two new high-end home theater cable lines emerge from the exclusive XLO brand – the entry-level XLO HT and XLO HT PRO; and the UltraPower PS 1040 and PS 1060 join the PGX1000, PGZ 1250 and PGX 2500 PowerGrid series of line conditioner/surge suppressors.
“It’s rare for an established company to show up at CES with this much new product,” said Don Bouchard — VP of Sales & Marketing, “I could spend the entire show booked up with the media and never have time to meet with our customers! More than anything, this year’s lineup demonstrates that we’ve listened closely to what our customers have to say, and we’ve responded with an array of premium products that are poised to take advantage of key areas within the HT accessories market.”
The new Ultralink Contractor Series encompasses the full range of CL rated in-wall wiring solutions: Cat5e, RG6, RG6Q, RGB3, RGB5, and RGB6 video cables, speaker wire, and audio cable. Field termination solutions include Ultralink’s high performance compression fit connectors and the patented, tool-free Push-Lock connectors that install fast and easy. “What separates the Contractor Series from other termination systems is that they offer consistency, pure impedance, and uncompromising performance–without sacrificing ease and speed in the field,” says Alissa Ball, Ultralink’s Domestic Sales Coordinator, “that’s what dealers and installers have long asked for.”
Within the new UltraPower line, all products feature the patented Active Surge Processor (ASP) technology, which monitors real time power conditions. Should an unsafe voltage condition occur, the ASP automatically disconnects the HT components from the AC power–protecting them from both catastrophic failure and the wear and tear of voltage fluctuations. Once safe operating voltage is restored, the HT system is reset to normal operation. “We’re so confident in the performance of these new
products,” states Don Bouchard, “we offer a 5-Year/$250,000 Connected Equipment Protection Policy on the UltraPower PS 1060 and the PS 1040.” In addition to the revolutionary ASP technology, UltraPower products also employ Advanced Clean Power Filtration Circuitry–an exclusive array of broad and narrow bandwidth filters that eliminate the noise and hash from polluted AC power. The result of all this technology: total protection for the system, better performance from audio/video components, and optimization of the entire signal delivery system.
The premium XLO line introduces two new series of entry-level Home Theater cables – XLO HT and HTPRO. Designed especially for the high resolution demands of modern HD home theater, HT and HTPRO employ XLO’s proprietary Wave-Link technology to optimize and integrate all the variables of cable design, material selection, and manufacture – delivering unprecedented audio and video performance at a remarkably low price. “Both the North American market and my international customers will be thrilled,” states, Sheila Tannehill–International Sales Manager, “the new XLO products offer astonishing performance at irresistible price-points.”
According to Don Bouchard, these new product lines reinforce the Ultralink/XLO philosophy: “Don’t compromise the system by leaving much of the performance potential in the box. The signal delivery system – quality cable, power conditioning and protection–is integral to achieving the final result you work for, and shouldn’t be treated as an afterthought. These new products,” he continues, “will allow both installers and customers to get the most out of their HT systems.”
