Put the Spotlight on Your Records with the UberLight Frame

With 500 lumens of LED lighting across a slim beam, no dust or dirt on your vinyl records can hide from the UberLight Frame.

UberLight Frame LED Light Lifestyle

Vinyl listening accessories have become a hot product category in recent years with the explosive growth of turntable sales. Although a number seem like overkill ($4,000 record cleaning machines…ahem), there are some that might actually make listening to vinyl less cumbersome; especially late at night when you might want to listen with the lights turned down.

Reliable Corporation, out of Canada, provides specialized product solutions in fabric care, sewing, steam cleaning, and lighting. The company’s latest LED task light is designed especially for audiophiles called UberLight Frame. Although it can be used for many desk and tabletop lighting situations, its promo slogan is, “What Superior Sound Looks Like”.

What is UberLight Frame?

The UberLight Frame is a LED task light designed for audiophiles, creatives, and professionals who demand exceptional lighting. Although the UberLight Frame can be used for a variety of personal lighting needs, the unique frame design is optimized to put a spotlight on turntables. The company claims it can even reveal dust and dirt that may be present on your records, even after they have been “cleaned.” In addition, the UberLight Frame remote control has its own light that can be used to check the condition of a cartridge stylus.

Features

Audio System Complement: The UberLight Frame is crafted to complement audio systems, framing them without overpowering the main event: your stereo.

Mounting Flexibility: Three included versatile options—a clamp, a stable base, and a table mount— ensure the perfect fit for any setup.

Multi-function Remote Control: An included rechargeable remote control allows users to adjust brightness, color temperature, and power on/off. The remote also includes a built-in flashlight to inspect a phono stylus. To recharge the remote, just place it in the charging dock on the Frame.

Adjustable Lighting: The UberLight Frame provides six individual light zones, six brightness levels, and three color temperature settings. This results in over 100 lighting combinations.

Durability: The UberLight Frame is made from cast aluminum, which provides both durability and styling to blend in with any room setting. It also outputs 500 lumens of light with a 90+ CRI  (Color Rendering Index), 50,000-hour lifespan, and very quiet operation (<20dB).

What’s Included

Reliable provides everything you need for setting up the UberLight Frame:

  • The UberLight Frame with rechargeable remote control
  • Power Cable
  • International Power Plugs
  • Base
  • Clamp
  • Table Mount

The Bottom Line

Lighting isn’t a category we normally cover often, but this product caught our attention as it relates to the use of turntables.

With its unique blend of form and function, the UberLight Frame not only offers great accent lighting for audio systems, but can also help you spot dirt and dust on your vinyl records. In addition, users should find its touchscreen panel and remote control convenient for customizing light output.

LOL worse than 4k cleaning machines. I have a tap to turn on or off usb light that is plenty bright and totally flexible to shine anywhere. Don’t need it for my new computer so repurposed for turntable. Cost? About 10 bucks 10 years ago.

Hardly worse than 4K record cleaning machines. The only thing that might be worse are $1,000 ethernet cables with gold connectors. Pro tip: Never use a ‘D’ cell MagSafe flashlight at 2 am after a prolonged power outage to check and see if your electronics are ok. #clumsy #dent
