Tripp Lite Selected as a Resi Award Finalist

Tripp Lite’s HT7300PC A/V Power Conditioning Center Selected as a Finalist for the 2006 Resi Awards

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Chicago, IL (August 23, 2006)–Tripp Lite, a world-leading manufacturer of power protection equipment, is proud to announce that its new professional-grade A/V Power Conditioning Center, the HT7300PC, has been selected as a 2006 Resi Awards finalist in the Power Management Product category. Resi Award winners from each of 12 product categories and the overall 2006 Resi of the Year winner will be announced at a reception during CEDIA EXPO on September 13, 2006.

“This year’s Resi finalists are a beautiful collection of sophisticated home electronics product designs,” said Residential Systems Editor Jeremy Glowacki. “These companies should take great pride in their investment in high-quality product designs. Not only do our judges appreciate their great attention to detail, but so do their dealers and customers.”

Optimized for 2U rackmount or console A/V applications, the HT7300PC Power Conditioning Center protects connected equipment from damage due to power surges and spikes. It features four sequenced AC outlets that are individually controlled by infrared commands and two special high-current outlets for amplifiers, subwoofers and other power-hungry equipment. Dual illuminated blue digital displays and 12 LEDs provide comprehensive real-time information about power status and operating conditions. A remote control device is included with the unit.

“The HT7300PC is the ideal power conditioning system for professional installers who want exceptional audio/video output, and we’re honored to have it selected as a Resi finalist,” said Tripp Lite Executive Vice President Jim Folk. “This mark of recognition from some of the industry’s most distinguished professionals demonstrates the depth of our commitment to the A/V sales channel. Tripp Lite will continue to provide cost-effective, scalable A/V power protection solutions that reduce the need for costly service calls, increase customer satisfaction, and safeguard the installer’s valued reputation for reliability.”
