Triad Nano OnWall LCR 3.0 Soundbar

Triad OnWall Nano LCR 3.0 Soundbar

Triad Speakers just released the Nano OnWall LCR 3.0, a 3-channels-in-1 passive loudspeaker system (soundbar) to complement on-wall TV installations. The company’s thinnest soundbar to date, Nano measures 1.6-inches deep (including grille) by 3.25 inches high in a fully-damped and braced extruded aluminum enclosure (a new design process for Triad). As the name implies the Nano OnWall is meant to be mounted on the wall, under a flat panel TV or behind a projection screen. However, since no amplifier is included, this speaker will require external amplification from a receiver or amp.

The Nano LCR 3.0 represents the first of a new series of ultra-compact soundbars from Triad that utilizes this new design process using extruded aluminum. The speaker is manufactured to order in Triad’s modern factory in Portland, Oregon. In addition to custom paint-matching, the company offer optional (at extra cost) custom-sizing in widths to match the length of the video display

Triad Speakers Marketing Manager Paul Teixeira notes, “While there are other manufacturers that market thin soundbars, their sound has typically taken a backseat to size.  The Nano LCR 3.0 incorporates 6 specially-designed Scan-Speak drivers and 3 soft dome SB tweeters in a fully-damped and braced aluminum enclosure, all of which was a major challenge from such a compact enclosure.  We’re very proud of how it sounds and looks, and believe it’s the best performer in its class today.”

Citing passionate sound engineering, a new design process and premium components, Triad believes its new ultra-slim TV soundbar is best in class.

Price and Availability

The Triad Nano OnWall LCR 3.0 Soundbar is now shipping for $1,200 in both custom widths and paint finishes. Standard accessories include Triad’s EZ Mount Bracket and brackets to mount directly to the TV.
