Training Podcasts Now Offered by RTI

Building on its Advanced Control University program, Leading Control Systems Manufacturer Provides Yet Another Innovative Educational Tool to its Dealers

SHAKOPEE, Minn.–March 7, 2008–Remote Technologies Inc. (RTI), the leading control systems manufacturer, has announced the introduction of training podcasts, the latest offering in its continuing education initiative. As part of RTI’s Advanced Control University (ACU) program — which supplies dealers with a full roster of courses to advance their expertise in designing home control solutions — these downloadable podcasts consist of numerous training modules offering in-depth information on the company’s products and Integration Designer programming software.

“Making our training modules available as podcasts is indicative of our on-going commitment to the custom installation community,” said Pete Baker, vice president of sales and marketing for RTI. “We know that it can be difficult for busy installation professionals to find time for necessary product training, and the introduction of the podcasts provides them with the opportunity to access our training programs at their convenience.”

Available through the dealer-exclusive section of RTI’s website, the podcasts offer the same content as RTI’s live training seminars in both audio and video files which can be downloaded for playback on personal media devices such as iPods and other mp3 players.

Training modules are designed to cover all of the latest products from RTI, including the new award-winning XP-8 Remote Control Processor, and feature detailed instruction on Integration Designer, the company’s highly revered programming software.

The podcasts are the newest channel by which RTI’s ACU courses are offered to dealers. Also available are on-site classes are held at AVAD distribution centers across the country; phone and web seminars for those who are unable to attend classes in person; and video tutorials — which are also available for download at the dealer-exclusive section of RTI’s website.

RTI’s Advanced Control University underscores its “Committed 2 Custom” by providing dealers with the industry’s best and most extensive education program.
