The notebook is built around a stunning 15.4-inch diagonal widescreen TruBrite display and an integrated HD DVD-ROM drive to allow users the chance to watch high definition content on their notebook’s display. Users can also connect the Qosmio’s HDMI port to a High Definition TV to expand the functionality of their home entertainment center. At its core, the Qosmio is aimed at providing a first-class multimedia experience at home, on the road or in a dorm room. By leveraging two Harman Kardon Bass Reflex stereo speakers, a built-in subwoofer and Dolby Home Theater technology this high-end speaker configuration dramatically enhances the visual experience by delivering a sophisticated suite of audio technologies, such as Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Live, Dolby Pro Logic II, Dolby Headphone and Dolby Virtual Speaker. As a result users have the freedom and flexibility to enjoy rich surround sound in a variety of playback environments as well as more vivid and engaging experiences from a user’s favorite music, movies and games.
