December 7, 2006: ST. LOUIS, MO — Terrestrial Digital’s PF7 Picture frame HD antenna will be featured on NBC’s The Today Show Friday, December 8 in a segment showcasing holiday gift ideas for guys.
The PF7 is an indoor HDTV antenna, disguised in an 8″x10″ picture frame. The antenna works well in strong signal areas, typically within 15 miles of the signal transmitter. The frame can be wall mounted or displayed on a table with a stand.
“Mainstream customers continue to demand stronger antennas with a less obtrusive design,” Terrestrial Digital President Richard Schneider said. “The PF7 is one of several products we have introduced specifically with that customer in mind.”
The PF7 has 6.5 dB of max gain and comes with a 75 ohm RG6 coaxial cable, fitted with an F-type connector. It is 9″ x 11″ and weighs just 1.5 lbs. The antenna sells for a retail price of $39.00.
Schneider started Terrestrial Digital in 2003, after becoming frustrated with the poor performance of several HDTV antennas he had tried. Schneider has continued to grow the company in that spirit of innovation, and plans to introduce a new line of antennas in 2007 that feature the most drastic improvements in antenna performance and design in three decades.
Terrestrial Digital has been featured in a number of top industry publications and has received rave reviews from industry insiders for its innovative product line.
