It features a user-friendly interface for managing network and Wi-Fi settings, while boasting speeds up to 1900mbps. The RT1900ac is equipped with three adjustable long-range antennas and uses the latest 802.11ac wireless technology for broadcasting both 2.4GHz and 5GHz signals. Most notably, its Synology Router Manager (SRM) Network Center application allows users to limit bandwidth consumption, block malicious content, setup parental controls, and fine-tune how data travels through your home or office network.
Advanced users can download free packages to transform the RT1900ac into a VPN server, RADIUS authentication server, DNS server, media server and 24/7 download hub for their homes and offices. Users can monitor and customize there network via web browser access at router.synology.com or via Android or iOS devices.
Traditional routers broadcast wireless signals in all directions, regardless of the position of your laptop computer or mobile devices. With smart Beamforming technology, the RT1900ac focuses wireless signals toward up to six supported devices, reducing latency, economizing power consumption, and improving wireless range.
