Manufacturer asking CEDIA members to take the night off
RIVERSIDE, CA: August 2007: SpeakerCraft, America’s original manufacturer of in-wall speakers is thrilled to be hosting an evening of old-fashion fun and entertainment. This year’s CEDIA Expo will be the site of a huge carnival under the stars.
“At a time when the builder business is tough, we have decided to give back to the association by providing a great time for all of the CEDIA members that have made this industry what it is today” says Jeremy Burkhardt, SpeakerCraft’s president. “We want to give everyone a chance to relax and step back from the pressure of the show floor and come play, enjoy and have a great time.”
The carnival will take place in the two parking lots directly across the street from the main entrance of the Hyatt hotel. This is just a block from the Denver Convention Center, making it within easy walking distance of all of the downtown hotels.
“There will be free rides, games, food and drink as well as some amazing musical entertainment.” Burhardt continued. He is referring to two incredible cover bands chosen to
keep the party rolling. Boogie Knights is a retro phenomenon dramatically recreating the disco scene of the seventies. Mini Kiss is a tribute band of miniature performers with all the theatrical musical passion of the original make-up wearing rock-and-roll icons.
“This will be a night to remember.” remarked Dave Donald, SpeakerCraft’s V.P. of Marketing. “I am confident our reputation for being a bit over the top will remain firmly intact after this event.”
Gates open Friday, September 7 at 9 PM to anyone with a CEDIA badge.
