Beta Version of aacPlus-enabled SAM Broadcaster Available Now
NAB, LAS VEGAS — April 25, 2006 — Coding Technologies, the leading provider of audio compression for digital broadcasting, mobile media, and the Internet, announced today that SpacialAudio Solutions, LLC has adopted Coding Technologies’ MPEG-4 aacPlus audio codec into its full line of Internet radio broadcasting products. Beginning today, consumers can go to www.spacialaudio.com and download the beta version of its flagship product Sam Broadcaster with fully-integrated aacPlus encoding and decoding.
SpacialAudio is the leading provider of audio streaming services and products that make broadcasting an Internet radio station easy and affordable to both Internet and terrestrial broadcasters. As of today, SpacialAudio will fully integrate Coding Technologies’ aacPlus codec into its product line to provide its customers with the tools that create, play and stream aacPlus content directly over the Internet. Content delivered in aacPlus is four times more bandwidth-efficient than content delivered in other formats such as MP3 (MPEG Layer-3) at the same listening quality.
