snom technology and Worldwide Partners Present VoIP Showcase at CeBIT 2008

Exhibition demonstrates significance of VoIP beyond making phone calls

BERLIN, GERMANY — February 15, 2008– snom technology AG, developer and manufacturer of Voice-over-IP (VoIP) telephones, will be exhibiting at the upcoming CeBIT 2008 Conference in Hannover, March 4th-9th. For the first time, snom will host a bi-level exhibit, with two floors showcasing a multi-faceted spectrum of complete VoIP solutions and scenarios with partner products. This showcase will include field-tested and proven products as well as brand new products. snom partners will be conducting live demonstrations of VoIP solutions, and the exhibit will also host a series of “theme worlds” including:
• VoIP CTI Connect
• Interop Solution World
• VoIP is Security
• XML goes VoIP
• VoIP meets TV

In addition to showcasing its product portfolio consisting of the m3 IP DECT phone, and the current line of the 3xx series IP phones, snom will present “VoIP Guru Talk”, a comprehen-sive and exciting series of lectures. Lecture topics will range from CRM telephony integra-tion, IP PBX technology, and a variety of other VoIP topics, to consumer electronics and XML. In addition to fellow exhibitors 3cx, Addix, Bevuta, Camrivox, Clara.net, Epygi, IT Synergy and Webpress, key speakers in the “VoIP Guru Talk” series will include industry specialists from Digium, Nortel, Vertico Software, Xantaro, and IP-Phone-Forum.

“Through this showcase, we aim to demonstrate that VoIP is much more than simply making phone calls,” said Dr. Michael Knieling, executive director of sales and marketing for snom. “Considering the increasing importance of unified communications, it is clear that having the ability to control and manipulate all our communications is the future of VoIP.”
snom’s IP phones will also be showcased through live demos provided by Allnet, Camrivox and Winbox Technologies. Allnet’s sensor wall with its shock sensor, noise meter, and mo-tion detector will use snom phones to show how IP phones can be excellent tools for remote measuring, operation, and adjustment. Camrivox’s Flexor CTI software, developed exclu-sively for snom phones, enables simple, low-priced CRM telephony integration without addi-tional servers or new PBXs. The Winbox solution enables snom users to accept or deny in-coming calls, which are displayed on a TV screen, using a TV remote control.

snom will be exhibiting in Hall 13, Booth D26.
