SKIPJAM ANNOUNCES IMEDIA TAG TOOL
CATEGORIZES VIDEO FILE COLLECTIONS

Free Beta Version Available for Download

February 15, 2005, Port Chester NY — SkipJam Corp., a leading provider of home media networking solutions, announced today SkipJam iMedia Tag Tool, a software tool which lets users add standard ID3 or AVI tags to their collection of video files to describe and categorize the videos for easy retrieval. Unlike audio files, most video files in a user’s growing collection are not tagged or categorized in any way. SkipJam’s iMedia Tag Tool software lets users add tags that contain a variety of information about their video files, so that those files are easier to locate.

The SkipJam iMedia Tag Tool is available for Windows PCs as a free beta for a limited time at http://www.skipjam.com/ The Tag Tool software is optimized for use with SkipJam iMedia Centers and SkipJam iMedia Players, but the Tag Tool can categorize any video file and benefits any PC user, including Windows Media Center Edition users.

The SkipJam iMedia Center lets users build a collection of videos quickly from a variety of sources which are saved on a hard drive. SkipJam’s iMedia Tag Tool software then lets users add information to the video files, such as description, genre and even a small representative image. Once the files are tagged, SkipJam iMedia devices let users browse their video collection right on their TV, selecting or searching for videos based on any of the description fields.

“Once you start a collection of videos, the task of finding something to watch becomes tedious if you have to scroll through your entire collection,” said Michael Spilo, CEO of SkipJam. “With the SkipJam iMedia Tag Tool, users can easily add information that lets them find exactly what they’re looking for quickly.”

SkipJam iMedia Tag Tool will be included free with any SkipJam products and will be sold separately for $20. It is currently available as a free in beta at: http://www.skipjam.com/
