SILTECH Signature Generation 6

The Netherlands – March 15, 2004 – The state-of-the art Signature series is the star of the Siltech product line. All the latest technology in metallurgy, insulation materials and construction techniques is incorporated in every Signature cable to ensure unmatched performance in the soundstage of your imagination.

Now Signature cables use Siltech’s newest – sixth – generation conductors. Generation Six (G6) metallurgy differs in the way the silver-gold conductors are being processed after the melt. The production process is more refined and leads to a more advanced and better conductor with better measurable performance. This results in better audio and video cables.

Because of the G6 conductors and special shielding techniques, Signature gives you a musical performance no other cable can. In the demanding digital and wireless age, perfect shielding becomes more and more important for your audio and video cables. In the Signature Series, specialized construction and isolation techniques are used to minimize the impact of stray signals and noise from cell phones, Wi-Fi networks, lighting, computer, and other electronics.?

To understand why Siltech uses silver and gold metallurgy for its cables, let’s look at silver’s crystalline structure. The natural crystal structure of copper and silver does not exhibit the characteristics of optimum conductivity. The structure itself produces small distortions when current flows through it. The crystal-group boundary affects the signal that generates these distortions. These crystal-groups can be seen as ball-shaped clusters of crystals. There is much space between the connected ‘balls’ but Siltech has developed a proprietary technique that greatly reduces these crystal boundaries. After purifying the silver (between melt and solidification), we add 24K gold. The gold fills the empty spaces between the crystals and improves the mechanical and electrical signal transmission properties.

All Siltech Signature cables are hand crafted and tested individually before leaving the factory. Signature products carry a lifetime warranty.
