Sennheiser announced the new GSP 350 gaming headset with Dolby 7.1 Surround Sound. The $140 closed-back wired headset uses comfortable memory foam ear pads that ensure excellent passive noise attenuation of external sound. The luxurious ear pads have been designed in accordance with Sennheiser’s dedicated research into the ergonomics of the human ear for superior comfort – even for longer periods of gameplay. It also features a cleverly-hinged and adjustable split headband that is inspired by aviation headsets and reduces pressure for enhanced comfort, making it effortless to achieve the perfect fit.
The GSP 350 also makes it easy to precisely adjust the sound experience. The headset comes with an intuitive volume control on the right ear cup for on-the-fly adjustments, as well as a sleek new Surround Dongle for PCs to quickly toggle between stereo and Dolby Surround Sound. Sennheiser’s elegant, intuitive software interface tailors the experience to each gamer, their game, or their surroundings: Four equalizer settings providing optimized modes for gaming, an eSports mode, an ‘Off’ setting that allows for a neutral sound performance, and a music mode for a premium audio experience.
For seamless team communication during gaming, the GSP 350 offers a “broadcast quality” noise-cancelling microphone that minimizes background noises and breathing sounds, so you can hear your teammates with perfect clarity. The microphone automatically mutes by raising the boom arm — another smart touch that makes the headset effortless to control.
