Sector 5, Inc. just launched a new 65-inch Ultra HD TV for $979.99, which uses DLED (Direct LED) technology within a slim bezel design and hidden sound bar speaker. To keep price down all built-in streaming capabilities have been removed, yet it still remains compatible with external set-top streaming boxes like Roku, Fire TV, or Apple TV.
“Sector 5 intends to disrupt the television market with large no-nonsense UHD TVs that combine the best in simplicity, performance and price point!” explains Roger McKeague, Chief Executive Officer, Sector 5.
The company says this new television is the culmination of the evolution of 4K technology towards consumer friendly pricing with image enhancing performance. It features DLED technology which claims to outperform any existing technology.
