Scosche Industries Bluelife Introduces New Bluetooth Dash Kit
Innovative Dash Kit Offers Customers Choice and Flexibility
Oxnard, Calif, (July 17, 2006) — BlueLife, Scosche Industries innovative line of Bluetooth wireless accessories for iPod and MP3 players for car, home and sport, today announced it is now shipping a new Bluetooth DIN kit, the BTDIN. The new installation kit is the latest addition to the BlueLife family, enabling real-time streaming digital audio via a Bluetooth connection. Earlier this year, BlueLife introduced the IUBCKH, a Bluetooth wireless interface and transmitter that connects directly to the headphone output connector of the iPod/MP3 unit and transmits to a Bluetooth receiver connected to the auxiliary input of a vehicle’s head unit or home audio system. The BTDIN is a unique installation kit designed specifically for BlueLife’s receiver allowing a consumer the freedom to mount the Bluetooth receiver in a vehicle’s head-unit location.
The BTDIN dash kit removes the restrictions of a standard head-unit enabling a consumer to have streaming digital audio in any vehicle. With no mechanics to allow music to skip, the BTDIN gives consumers the freedom to listen to their music in any environment including off-road and marine environments.
“We are excited to introduce the new dash kit for to our BlueLife family,” said Kas Alves, vice president marketing and sales, Scosche Industries. “The new dash kit offers consumers a new choice in the way they listen to their music. With the popularity of iPod and MP3 players growing each year, consumers want to listen to their music the way they want to. Our BTDIN allows them that luxury.”
The BTDIN mounts any Scosche BlueLife receiver in a traditional head-unit location and fits any OEM or aftermarket DIN radio space. The unit comes with an adapter for wiring the hands-free microphone that allows users to listen to their music and answer cell phone calls hands-free in their vehicles. For a covert install, two tinted face plates are also included. The BTDIN fits any BlueLife receiver including the IUBCKH, the UBRH, the IPBCK, the UBCK, and the UBR.
The BTDIN is now available at specialty retailers across the nation for a suggested retail price of $20.50. For more information on Scosche’s full line of BlueLife products visit the website at www.scosche.com.
