Today Samsung announced pricing and additional details on their 2025 line-up of Neo QLED TVs. The top 3 (of 5) Neo QLED models will get “glare-free” technology for improved viewing in bright rooms. In addition, all Neo QLED TVs in 2025 get access to the Samsung Art Store, popularized by the company’s Frame TV. The Art Store is available by subscription to turn your TV into a work of art when not in use for TV viewing. The new sets are also the first to feature Samsung Vision AI with smarter, adaptive features as well as enhanced picture processing.
According to the company, “Samsung Vision AI pairs AI-enhanced picture and sound for maximized performance with personalized experiences designed to help you engage more deeply with your content and enjoy a viewing experience catered just to you.”
This includes features such as the ability to learn more about the actors on screen and receiving content recommendations with a new “Click to Search” feature. You can also get real-time language translations of what you’re watching with subtitles in your preferred language using a new “Live Translate” feature. Also, the “gesture control” feature which we thought was gone for good after failed attempts in the early 2010s – appears to be making a comeback, as long as you’re wearing a Samsung Galaxy Watch. The “Universal Gestures” feature will be available throughout the new line-up.

“We know great picture and immersive sound are just the beginning of what shoppers are looking for when choosing a TV today,” said Lydia Cho, Head of Product, Home Electronics at Samsung Electronics America. “In fact, enhanced connectivity, smart features and ease of use are more important than ever. Samsung Vision AI transforms your TV to bring together the best of it all, delivering AI-powered innovations that reinvent what’s possible from your Samsung TV.”
8K – Samsung Carries The Torch
While other manufactures seem to be easing off the gas on 8K TVs, Samsung is putting out a whole new line of 8K-resolution TVs, with two distinct models, the QN990F flagship and the QN900F. While there isn’t much 8K content yet, Samsung says that their 8K Neo QLED TVs are capable of the best picture quality, regardless of source resolution. The new 8K sets feature the company’s latest NQ8 AI Gen3 Processor. The flagship QN990F series leverages Samsung’s 8K AI Upscaling Pro engine to “transform SD, HD or even 4K content into the sharpest and smoothest picture of any Samsung TV. “
Samsung says its 2025 Neo QLED 8K lineup delivers an “exceptional glare-free picture with Quantum Matrix Mini LEDs, immersive sound and breakthrough experiences, all powered by Samsung Vision AI.”

The QN990F is available in screen sizes from 65 inches up to 98 inches, and features the company’s new Wireless One Connect Box which allows your video sources to be stored in a closet or cabinet up to 30 feet away from the TV with no loss of resolution or quality. With the Wireless One Connect box, all the TV needs is a power cable.
For gamers and sports lovers, the QN990F feature Samsung’s Motion Xcelerator 240Hz and AI Motion Enhancer Pro for enhanced motion clarity. Dedicated upward-firing speakers power Dolby Atmos immersive sound, while Object Tracking Sound Pro provides audio that follows the on-screen action for enhanced audio realism.

The QN900F series is available in 65-inch to 85-inch screen sizes and offers 8K AI Upscaling that enhances any content up to 8K resolution. It also includes Samsung’s Glare-Free technology and features a new metal frame design with improved aesthetics.
The QN900F gets Motion Xcelerator 165Hz for enhanced motion resolution as well as Object Tracking Sound+ for enhanced sonic realism.
The QN900F series (65” and 75” class sizes) is available starting today, and the QN990F series and 85” Class QN900F will be rolling out soon.

Neo QLED 4K – Now Bigger Than Ever
Stepping down to 4K resolution, we find three model series (QN90F, QN80F, and QN70F), all featuring Quantum Matrix Mini LED backlighting and advanced local dimming technology for improved brightness, reduced haling and accurate color reproduction. Samsung is offering up their largest screen size consumer TV ever with the 115-inch QN90F coming later this year.
The flagship QN90F (sized from 43 inches to 115 inches) features the company’s upgraded NQ4 AI Gen3 Processor, for enhanced upscaling and noise reduction. Meanwhile Samsung’s Neo Quantum HDR+ feature analyzes each scene to boost brightness where needed and improve picture depth.
The QN90F features the company’s Glare-Free technology for enhanced performance in bright rooms. Motion Xcelerator 165Hz ensures clear motion on live sports and gaming content.

Both the QN80F (55 inches to 100 inches) and QN70F (55 inches to 85 inches) feature Samsung’s NQ4 AI Gen2 Processor for an AI-enhanced 4K picture and optimized sound, as well as 4K AI Upscaling and smooth, tear-free gaming with Motion Xcelerator 144Hz.
The largest screen sizes – 100 inches on the QN80F and 115 inches on the QN90F – are not yet shipping and prices of these models have not yet been announced. Both of these ultra-large sizes will leverage Samsung’s new Supersize Picture Enhancer, which optimizes visuals so you can go bigger without the blur.
The QN90F series and QN80F series are available for purchase starting today, with the QN70F series arriving soon.

Art & Longevity
Samsung tells us that all Neo QLED models (4K and 8K) will have access to the Samsung Art Store. And for anyone worried about obsolescence, the company says it now offers up to seven years of updates, ensuring that customers have easy access to the latest apps, services and AI features in Samsung’s Tizen Smart TV platform.

The Bottom Line
As the number 1 TV brand in global sales, Samsung continues to offer a wide selection of LED/LCD TV models sure to appeal to most consumers. The massive 115-inch model was impressive looking at CES 2025, but we’re expecting it to cost a pretty penny. Pricing and availability of the company’s 2025 OLED TVs is expected later this spring.
