UNION CITY, CALIFORNIA — February 2, 2005 — Runco International, the world leader in high-end home theater video display technology, is sending its experts on the road to show custom installers the keys to designing world-class home theaters. The company is partnering with CEDIA to host a course entitled “Elite Home Theater” at several CEDIA Regional Education events throughout 2005. Runco International will join with Stewart Filmscreen, coNEXTion Systems, and Genelec to walk attendees through specifying the essential elements of a home theater that satisfy both the performance and aesthetic requirements of today’s clients. The first course is set for Sunday, February 6 at Fort Lauderdale, Florida’s Broward County Convention Center.
“CEDIA Regional Education makes it easy for custom installers around the country to find out how Runco International can help them build ‘The World’s Finest Home Theaters,’ ” said Bob Hana, president of Runco International. “The Runco team is going to cover the need-to-know aspects of building a home theater that sets itself apart through extraordinary picture quality and integration with both the surrounding decor and other home systems. Attendees are going to walk away with information they can use to improve their very next installation.”
Attendees to the “Elite Home Theater” course will see a number of Runco International’s projectors in action, and will learn how to choose the right technology depending on installation specifications. Runco will demonstrate the Reflection Series CL-510, CL-710, and VX-5000d, as well as the breakthrough, Video Xtreme Series VX-2c 3-chip Projection System with the next-generation DHD Video Controller. The variety of projectors will highlight the effectiveness of each projector’s capabilities in handling varying ambient light levels, and different screen sizes and types. In fact, nearly every attendee at the Regional Education courses will experience Runco International’s picture quality and product versatility. As a founding CEDIA member and dedicated supporter of the association’s education initiatives, Runco is once again pledging its support by donating projectors for each presenter’s course at each 2005 regional event.
Since Super Bowl XXXIX will be played on Sunday, the 7th, Runco plans on taking full advantage of the gear it will have on hand. CEDIA Regional attendees will have a spectacular view of the game–watching it on Runco’s exclusive VX-2c Projection System! In addition to watching the best picture in town, attendees will be treated to food and beverages provided by the manufacturers sponsoring the event.
Runco International and its three partner manufacturers will host the first series of “Elite Home Theater” courses during the first CEDIA Regional Education in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
