Latest TheaterTouch Designer Software Supports Newest RTI Remotes with More Graphics, Greater Macro Capacity, and Multiple Control Processor Capabilities
Remote Technologies Inc (RTI) introduced an upgraded version of its TheaterTouch Designer Software program. The new software enables RTI dealers to program control systems for any size entertainment system using any RTI remote including the new K4 in-wall color touchpanel. The updated software, which was released this week, strengthens a program that is considered by many home theater designers to be the simplest and most versatile in the industry.
“With the release of our latest TheaterTouch Designer Software, we’re happy to say that a good thing just got better,” stated Pete Baker, director of worldwide sales for RTI. “At RTI, we take great pride in our software, which has evolved over the past decade to become the most intuitive, flexible, and powerful control system programming interface available to custom installation dealers. We consider TheaterTouch Designer software to be as essential a product as any of our remotes. That’s why we use feedback from dealers on each new software iteration to solve the challenges installers are dealing with today. We are committed to providing the CEDIA installers with the very best in control solutions and the proper tools and training to professionally program them.”
The new TheaterTouch Designer software supports the latest RTI universal controllers and remote processors. It includes a complete library of custom buttons and templates for the K4 handheld touchpanel, and can interface with multiple control processors, even the new RP-1. In addition, the program can create macro command strings with an unlimited number of steps for any RTI remote, and attach .WAV audio files to controllers with playback capability such as the T3 and K4.
The new software is available now. Installers can get a copy by logging on to www.rticorp.com/dealers and following the downloading instructions. The new 4.0 software runs on Window 98 Second Edition, Windows Me, Windows 2000, Windows XP or a higher operating system.
