Ranch Networks Appoints VP of Sales and Marketing

Morganville, NJ — March 15, 2006 — Ranch Networks, the first IP telephony appliance provider to integrate security and voice quality for all IP-based applications, today announced that David Gombos has been named to the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

“Ranch Networks is ideally positioned to lead the future in secure and manageable VoIP traffic,” said Ram Ayyakad, founder and CEO of Ranch Networks. “We anticipate significant growth this year and David’s experience and knowledge in marketing and sales will help us meet our short and long term goals.”

David brings over 15 years experience in sales and marketing to the Ranch Networks team, most recently holding the position of Vice President of Global Sales for Quintum Technologies, Eatontown, NJ. During his tenure, Quintum Technologies was recognized in Forbes Magazine’s “Top Ten Companies to Watch in 2005” and listed #205 on Inc. Magazine’s list of “500 Fastest Growing Private Companies in 2005.”

“I saw Ranch Networks as a great opportunity to work with an expanding company in an exciting market,” said David Gombos, vice president of sales and marketing for Ranch Networks. “I am excited to aggressively build a world class distribution channel at Ranch Networks.”

Prior to Quintum Technologies, David was Group Director of Corporate Sales for MicroWarehouse, Inc. where he developed market segmentation strategies and achieved over $400 million in gross sales.
