Qsonix introduces and announces immediate availability of its new Q2 series–the first of its much-anticipated new music server systems since announcing its partnership with digital audio specialist Wadia Digital.
A completely superior, new design, the Q2 series replaces the critically acclaimed Q100 line. The new Q205 & Q210 systems are built on Qsonix's next generation hardware & software platform and incorporate Wadia Digital's world-renowned digital audio output technology, elevating the category to a new reference level in high performance audio.
Housed in a new mechanical enclosure featuring a precision-machined aluminum front panel, the Q2 series products are whisper quiet and exude an understated elegance. The Qsonix award-winning user experience takes on a new degree of simple sophistication with a hi-resolution refined GUI and iPad compatible remote control interface.
Sonically the Q205 is in a category of its own with support for uncompressed high-definition 24/192kHz bit audio and a custom designed digital output platform by Wadia Digital. The Q205 includes all of the most important digital outputs including; AES/EBU balanced digital audio, S/PDIF, TosLink and USB.
For music throughout the home, the new Q210 design will amaze and satisfy custom integrators and multi-room, whole-house audio applications. The Q210 features four discreet high-quality analog outputs, hard-wired IR connector as well as Crestron and third-party automation system support. The Q210 also benefits from a new chassis, whisper quiet operation and a rack-mounting kit. In addition the system can be upgraded with an additional digital audio output connection and high- definition audio support when desired.
The new Q2 systems are available with choice of 1TB or 2TB of premium hard drive storage and either 15″ or 17″ touchscreen controllers. Both units also include built-in support for desktop PC/Mac and iPhone®, iPod touch® and iPad remote control operation.
Qsonix offers the music lover's ultimate storage and music management system with their Just Press Play user-friendly drag & drop touchscreen user interface, uncompromised and uncompressed CD storage and a new standard in audiophile sound performance. System storage accommodates the equivalent of nearly 5,000 uncompressed CDs. All Qsonix systems include automatic software upgrades as well as extended meta-data and album art from AMG (All Music Guide) that easily and quickly organize your music library by artist, album, composer, genre and time period.
