Almost a year after they were previewed at AXPONA 2023, PSB has announced its M4U TWM wireless earbuds are now available in the U.S. for $199 and in Canada for $299.

With so many wireless earbuds under $200 currently in the market, PSB had to do something really different to make the new M4U TWM earbuds stand out and based on our initial experience with them last year — there are some features that might prove to be very useful for those with some form of hearing loss; and that applies to members of the Hi-Fi press as well.

Features

Sound Optimization with Audiodo Personal Sound

This technology uses algorithms that allow listeners to calibrate their headphones or earbuds so that they match the listening capabilities of each ear. After completing a hearing assessment accessed through the PSB Headphones App, Audiodo Personal Sound maps a precise profile of the listener’s hearing. It calculates what changes need to be made based on personal sound perception, and formulates a compensation curve for the listener that can be applied to the overall headphone sound.

Natural RoomFeel Tuning

RoomFeel technology mimics the experience of listening to a pair of high-quality, full-range speakers. Developed using research and expertise around ‘Room Gain’ the energy and warmth that room boundaries add to the response curve of a flat-measuring loudspeaker). Instead of a traditional ‘in the head’ headphone listening experience, RoomFeel creates an open and natural experience more typical of listening to actual speakers placed in a room.

PSB Headphones App

The PSB headphones app provides access to all earphone settings, including Audiodo Personal Sound tests, transparency modes, battery levels, and the latest firmware updates and codes when provided.
