Norway’s projectiondesign will introduce high-resolution editions of their F22 DLP projector platform at InfoComm 09. Now available with additional options of WUXGA and 1080p, resolutions, the new F22 benefits from using Philips’ VIDI technology for improved color reproduction and color management, enhanced image quality, and performance predictability. The new projectors promise even higher performance for system integrators.
“The introduction of the F22 with both WUXGA and 1080p resolutions means that all four of our F-series projectors–the F12, F22, F32, and F80–can be more accurately tailored to their intended application, offering benefits to our partners, installers, designers and end users alike,” comments Anders Lokke, International Marketing and Communications Manager at projectiondesign.
VIDI technology promises reduced cost of ownership for the end customer, while scores of other modifications ‘under the hood’ give the F22 enhanced brightness and greatly enhanced calibration and color-matching capabilities when compared with its predecessor, the F20.
A professional-grade compact projector, the F22 also boasts projectiondesign’s RealColor™ color management suite, and Texas Instruments™’ BrilliantColor™ technology for the ultimate color performance. Four high performance projection lenses — including two wide-angle, a standard zoom, and a long-throw zoom lens increase the range of applications. The projector’s compact size means it can be used in many projects where space is restricted, while its light weight (less than 3kg) means it easily can be transported, or installed in motion platforms.
“Where the projector will be working mainly with full-motion HD video content, the F22-1080p resolution will be appropriate, but if computer graphics are the order of the day, the higher resolution F22-wuxga edition will be preferred.”
“We have already seen great success with our WUXGA-resolution models, with the introduction of the F22-wuxga we have the smallest high-resolution projector on the market. They are consistently being utilized in applications such as command and control, visualization, medical, simulation and education, and are looking forward to demonstrating these new projectors at InfoComm 09 in Orlando.”
The F22 will be shown alongside the F12, F22, F32, and F80 projectors with WUXGA and 1080p resolutions on Booth #3761 at InfoComm 09 at the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, FL, from June 17–19 2009.
