Pioneer just released the TS-W3003D4 Champion Series Pro 12-inch car subwoofer for loud and powerful bass capable of withstanding up to 2,000 watts of maximum power with 600 watts of continuous musical power. The subwoofer features a patented IMPP composite seamless cone, reinforced drive cone, dual spiders and large double stacked magnets, to produce powerful bass output utilizing both customized and prefabricated enclosures.
Made to perform within differently sized, readily available prefabricated enclosures, the 12-inch dual 4-ohm voice coil Champion Series Pro TS-W3003D4 features Pioneer’s seamless IMPP composite cone for high strength and durability. The exceptionally strong cone can produce massive air movements without flexing or buckling, which can cause added distortion.
The subwoofer’s cone is enhanced with a dual-layer elastic polymer surround, reinforced drive cone, and dual spider to ensure crystal clear bass output. For further reliability and great sound quality, the subwoofer uses a four-layer copper voice coil with an aluminum former that improves heat dissipation for higher input power handling, and air vents in the metal basket construction below the spider to alleviate pressure build up in the chamber and cool the voice coil. It is capable of fitting into a 0.85 cubic ft. to 1.75 cubic ft. enclosure.
