Best Pictures Ever Unveiled From New Professional F30 Projector From Projectiondesign

Texas Instruments BrilliantColor™ Technology an Added Plus

RIDGEFIELD, NJ (March 16, 2007) – A new professional projector from projectiondesign, the powerful F30 sx+, displays “best-ever pictures” from single-chip DLP™ technology. This top-of-the line projector features Texas Instruments BrilliantColor technology which enhances images by reproducing a wider color spectrum and dramatically increases color saturation and visible gamut.

In announcing the new series, Gary Plavin, projectiondesign North American president, says, “The F30 projector with BrilliantColor gets the utmost use out of the single-chip Digital Light Processing (DLP) LVDS DMD™ with DarkChip3™ technology. The F30 delivers the unique combination of high brightness and contrast, with natural colors – and most important – its unmatched reliability. Plus it provides the best pictures ever.”

Because the projectors are configurable for every application, a unique choice of three different BrilliantColor color wheel options lets the F30 be precisely matched to its individual requirements.

The F30 has been designed to perform in a variety of environments and specialized applications such as simulators, 2D and 3D visualization and entertainment venues, as well as medical imaging, post-production, control rooms and display signage.

The sealed optical architecture (SOA) of the new F30 ensures trouble-free operation in unforgiving and harsh environments, such as process control environments and bars. Dust, smoke and particles are prevented from contaminating the light engine; the units require virtually no servicing or maintenance.

Advanced Color Technologies Come Standard

In addition to the Texas Instruments BrilliantColor technology, the professional F30 sx+ series also features the unique projectiondesign RealColor technology, to deliver outstanding calibration and perfect color reproduction. RealColor is a proprietary calibration system that is configured for the specific application before it leaves the projectiondesign factory. “We can also deliver the F30 projector with built-in passive 3D stereo imaging hardware,” says Plavin, “for appropriate applications.”

A range of 6 user-replaceable bayonet mount lenses is also available.

SXGA+ Resolution Built In

The F30 series features a native resolution of SXGA+ (1,400 x 1,050) and a brightness of up to 6,500 lumens because of its dual lamp configuration. Made for long-term reliability and stability for most heavy-duty and demanding applications, the F30 also uses the patented, widely proven projectiondesign DuArch™ dual architecture illumination technology. The F30 series uses the enhanced, high DLP contrast ratio of 7,500:1.

All settings can be conveniently adjusted using the rear panel keyboard, through the built-in network port, or using standard control systems via RS232 control. The F30 is fully compatible with the newly released projectiondesign ProNet Site scalable professional network asset management software.
