Phase Technology Honors Sales Excellence with 2005 Rep and Dealer of the Year Awards

Jerry’s Audio, Ideal Marketing and Nova Marketing Garner Top Spots

JACKSONVILLE, FL — March 14, 2006 — Phase Technology, the leader in speaker design and engineering, is proud to announce the winners of their 2005 Rep and Dealer of the Year Awards. The awards were presented in early 2006 during Phase Technology’s National Sales Meeting, where leading reps gathered to discuss the continued growth of the Phase Tech brand and lay plans for an even more successful 2006. Jerry’s Audio, of Phoenix and Scottsdale, Arizona, was voted Dealer of the Year for 2005 and NOVA Marketing and Ideal Marketing were both honored for separate Rep of the Year awards.

“Our sales partners are our company’s most important asset,” said Ken Hecht, president of Phase Technology. “While we applaud our entire rep and dealer network for excelling this past year and making it the best ever for Phase Technology, we also want to single out Jerry’s Audio, NOVA Marketing, and Ideal Marketing for being the best of the best. We continue to grow our business with innovative products like our revolutionary dARTS Digital Audio Reference Theater System and continue to have the representation of so many terrific dealer and rep firms.”

Jerry’s A/V is Arizona’s high performance audio/video specialist. Offering custom design, engineering and installation of residential home theater and commercial audio/video systems, Jerry’s professional audio/video consultants make buying home entertainment electronics easy and fun. Jerry’s A/V, with store locations in both Phoenix and Scottsdale, has been awarded with the Phase Tech Dealer of the Year distinction for the fifth year in a row. 2005 was the single largest sales volume year for any dealer in Phase Technology’s history and this solidified Jerry’s A/V reputation and brand commitment.

Ideal Marketing, which represents Phase Technology in Indiana, Michigan and Kentucky, was honored as 2005 Rep of the Year for existing territories. This marks the second year in a row for Ideal to win this award. NOVA Marketing was honored as 2005 Rep of the Year for new territories. NOVA represents Phase Technology in Minnesota, North & South Dakota, and Western Wisconsin. Both rep firms increased sales in their territories with a combination of bringing on new dealers, as well as increasing same store sales for select dealers.

Overall, 2005 was a terrific year for Phase Technology, with the introduction of well-received new products, increased training and technical support, and continued support from their tremendous sales force, both reps and dealers.

About Phase Technology

Phase Technology Corporation (toll-free at 888-PHASE TK; website at www.phasetech.com) is one of the few fully-vertically integrated American speaker manufacturers. The company started as United Speaker Systems in 1955 as an original equipment manufacturer and still designs and produces its own sub-assemblies in-house. Phase Technology’s speaker lines incorporate many proprietary innovations like the soft-dome tweeter, the industry’s standard invented by Bill Hecht, founder of Phase Technology. Other patents cover the self-damping woofer voice coil, the manufacturing process for flat-piston midrange drivers and woofers, silicone-injected drivers for resonance damping, and the positive-clamping mounting system for the premier in-wall Model CI-110/II. The company also developed the Unicell Zero-Diffraction treatment that reduces acoustic reflections off cabinet and grille surfaces. Phase Technology manufactures its wood cabinets by hand and performs quality control tests at every step of the fabrication process.

Building on five decades of design and engineering innovation in the manufacture of high quality, yet affordable speakers, Phase Technology supports its products with a 10-year warranty on speakers, while amplifiers are backed by a 3-year warranty. Phase Technology’s digital home theater, audiophile, outdoor, in-wall/in-ceiling custom installation speakers, as well as powered and in-wall subwoofers are constructed at the company’s Jacksonville, Florida facility.
