Phase Technology has introduced a new line of surface-mount, ceiling-mount and in-wall 3″ speakers. These high fidelity products offer outstanding sonic performance with simple mounting and are ideal for bringing high quality sound to kitchen backsplashes, stairs, patio areas or the home office. Models include:
SPF-15 ($125 each), a surface-mount, 3″ (76 mm) speaker incorporating a 3″ polypropylene full range driver with butyl rubber surround. The speaker's unique mounting system rotates 0 to 90o and connects to a wall plate that swivels 173o in both directions. No tools are needed to lock the speaker's positioning. With all wires connecting at the speaker's wall plate back box, installations contain no visible wires; components are weatherized for indoor or outdoor use. The SPF-15 is available in black or white; custom painting is optional. A 70V transformer option is also available.
CI 1.5 ($260 each), a round ceiling-mount speaker with a 3″ polypropylene full range driver with butyl rubber surround in a shallow 3.75″ (95 mm) backcan. The speaker provides rapid fixed-wing installation and a paintable black or white grille. Components are weatherized for durability in indoor or outdoor uses. A 70-100 volt transformer is included for installation convenience.
CI 15 ($260 each), a square in-wall speaker providing a 3″ polypropylene full range driver with butyl rubber surround in a 3.75″ backcan. This unit also offers rapid fixed-wing installation and a square paintable grille in black or white. An optional theft-resistant stainless grille is also available; a 70 — 100V transformer is included.
CI-MM3-II ($160 each), an update to Phase Technology's popular 3″ in-wall Spacia speaker. This product fits in a standard double gang box or mud ring, making it simple to install in kitchens, foyers, bathrooms and hallways. A snap-on paintable grille provides a smooth, unobtrusive finish.
“These three inch models prove that a small size can yield big results. They are little enough to fit just about anywhere but still bring full fidelity sound to the area. They're perfect for filling out audio spaces throughout the home or office.”
