The VWAH provides seamless plug-and-play interfacing for select 2002-08 vehicles, allowing owners to add a navigation or any other radio without complicated and time-consuming wire runs.
Clearwater, Florida, September 2007 — Peripheral Electronics, AAMP of America’s innovative OEM Integration division, announced today it is now shipping its brand-new radio replacement solution for late-model can bus Volkswagen vehicles. The VWAH provides seamless plug-and-play interfacing for select 2002-08 vehicles, allowing owners to add a navigation or any other radio without complicated and time-consuming wire runs.
The VWAH works with the 2006-08 Eos and 2002-08 Golf, GTI, Jetta, Passat, and Rabbit. It provides 12Volt Accessory, Vehicle Speed Sense, and Illumination Output for 2002-08 vehicles, as well as Parking Break and Reverse Gear Indicators for 2006-08 vehicles. It integrates into Volkswagen standard systems as well as Monsoon and Dynaudio premium amplified systems.
The VWAH includes a direct connection to the Peripheral Electronics PESWI line of steering wheel interfaces for aftermarket Alpine, Clarion, Eclipse, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony, and many other radios. These interfaces maintain the convenience of factory steering wheel controls when upgrading the factory radio with an aftermarket radio.
In addition, the compact size of the VWAH provides an easy fit behind the dash for space-saving installs. And with all the necessary connections for navigation and non-navigation aftermarket radios, the VWAH saves installers valuable time fishing for wires.
The Peripheral Electronics VWAH Radio Replacement Interface provides another strong OEM Integration solution for many popular late-model Volkswagen vehicles. For more information, visit www.peripheralelectronics.com or call a Peripheral Sales Representative at 727-572-9255.
