Panamax Strengthens Product Training Program

PETALUMA, Calif. — December 9, 2005 – Panamax, the leading manufacturer of power protection and conditioning products, is revving up its national training program and has brought on a full-time trainer to develop each Panamax dealer’s power conditioning expertise. Candace Brown was signed on as Panamax’s first full-time national trainer, and she brings over 20 years of teaching experience to the company’s popular educational program. Panamax training informs installing dealers on how to use the company’s full range of products to get the best performance from A/V entertainment systems throughout a home or office.

Brown says that Panamax’s training program is one of the nation’s top programs, and that participants gain an immediate advantage following each course.

“The training provided by Panamax is always the highest quality, and the knowledge our dealers take home allows them to be more profitable. I am very excited to be part of a team with such a successful record and look forward to expanding our training offerings. We’re going to look at adding new delivery methods to fully engage each attendee, increase their knowledge, and boost their ability to create clean foundations for better picture and sound.”

Panamax training begins by strengthening dealers’ understanding of the basic nature of electricity, and then applies it toward virtually guaranteeing perfect performance from any A/V system in the home. Each Panamax product is purpose-built for specific applications and provides a broad range of advanced options to customize power delivery for a customer’s particular A/V system. Dealers agree that Panamax’s advanced products require advanced training, and that few companies have a comparable training program.

Michelle Geary is a system designer and store manager at The Home Theater Company in Sacramento, California. She says Panamax training brings attendees real benefits.

“After working on both the manufacturing and the retail side of the consumer electronics industry for many years I have found Panamax to be one of the few companies to have an extensive training program that is both convenient and effective. Panamax has the unique ability to take increasingly complex products and make them easy to learn, install and operate. The online training sessions are easy to access, informative, and provide dealers with the ability to get comprehensive one-on-one training without ever leaving the office.”

Recently, Panamax has introduced its EX line of home power conditioners for home theaters and other A/V entertainment systems. The series is an installer’s front-line defense against power impurities, and includes five conditioners that are designed to deliver the best performance possible from video displays (flat-panel and projection), multi-channel and stereo speaker arrays, amplifiers, receivers and more. The EX line takes Panamax’s award-winning power filtration and surge protection and adds patent-pending Automatic Voltage Monitoring (AVM) to automatically disconnect equipment from harmful voltage levels; high-current outlets that deliver plenty of power to high-capacity amps and subs; and a stylish new industrial design that adds great looks to great performance.
