Panamax’s New Entry-Level MFP-300 Delivers Premium Power to HD Flat-Panel Displays for Under $150
Panamax/Furman Sound, a world-leading provider of AC power management solutions, today announced the release of an entry-level power management solution for residential home theater systems. Priced at under $150, the MFP-300 supplies clean, noise-free power to high-definition (HD) flat-panel displays for enhanced image and sound quality while protecting the system from damaging over/undervoltages.
Featuring a slimline design that makes it ideal for mounting out of view behind flat-panel displays, the MFP-300 offers power cleaning and premium filtration to eliminate common symptoms of AC line noise, such as loss of detail, pops, hisses, hums, and visual artifacts, allowing equipment to perform at its full capability for an optimal home theater experience.
For component longevity, Panamax’s exclusive Protect or Disconnect circuitry completely removes the AC power from connected equipment in the event of a catastrophic surge, while integrated coax/sat line protection prevents electrical surges that travel over cable, satellite, and antenna lines.
“Consumers have high expectations for the HD experience, and without proper filtration, they are understandably disappointed when it doesn’t deliver,” said Dave Keller, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Panamax and Furman. “When consumers purchase a new HDTV at a reseller, the low cost of the MFP-300 allows consumers to easily add on the power cleaning and filtration they need to get the most out of their investment and receive a truly stunning viewing experience.”
The MFP-300 will be available in January 2008 at an MSRP of $149.95.
