Partnership aims to leverage open source to provide voice recording application

Chicago, IL and Markham, ON — (December 6, 2007) — Sangoma Technologies Corporation (TSXV: STC), the premium provider of PC-based telephony hardware and software products for proprietary and open source based networking and telephony solutions, and OrecX, a leading provider of VoIP call recording, today announced that OrecX has become a Sangoma Solutions Partner. As a result of this agreement, OrecX will recommend Sangoma Cards to power their voice recording applications.

OrecX has developed an open source community whose primary objective is to deliver a universal voice recording platform. ‘Empowered by Sangoma’ Solutions Partners are required to meet certain criteria and are eligible to receive a number of benefits including a private partner area on the Sangoma website, access to the ‘Empowered by Sangoma’ brand program, co-op marketing dollars, and cross promotion on the Sangoma website.
