Partnership aims to leverage open source to provide voice recording application

Chicago, IL and Markham, ON — (December 6, 2007) — Sangoma Technologies Corporation (TSXV: STC), the premium provider of PC-based telephony hardware and software products for proprietary and open source based networking and telephony solutions, and OrecX, a leading provider of VoIP call recording, today announced that OrecX has become a Sangoma Solutions Partner. As a result of this agreement, OrecX will recommend Sangoma Cards to power their voice recording applications.

OrecX has developed an open source community whose primary objective is to deliver a universal voice recording platform. “Sangoma makes great products,” states Bruce Kaskey, Founder and COO of OrecX. “Our customers believe in the power of Sangoma cards, that’s why we recommend them.”

The Sangoma Partner Program includes three different types of partnerships: channel partners, strategic partners and solutions partners. Sangoma works with its partners to provide complete solutions for every type of customer need.

‘Empowered by Sangoma’ Solutions Partners are required to meet certain criteria and are eligible to receive a number of benefits including a private partner area on the Sangoma website, access to the ‘Empowered by Sangoma’ brand program, co-op marketing dollars, and cross promotion on the Sangoma website.

“By working with an innovative company like OrecX we can offer the business community more options and features when building high-end systems,” said Kathleen Reed, Marketing Director at Sangoma. “We look forward to partnering with OrecX to provide the open source community with the highest degree of product integration and continue to enable powerful solutions and parallel technology development.”
