Optoma just released a new 4K home theater projector (UHD60) for $1,999 and a step-up model (UHD65) for $2,499. The extra $500 buys you 20% more contrast with Dynamic Black enabled, a wider color range and PureMotion video processing technology to eliminate motion blurring or image judder. Both deliver four times the pixels of 1080p at 3840×2160 UHD resolution with 8.3 million pixels. In addition, both boast High Dynamic Range (HDR) compatibility with open standard HDR10, along with REC.2020 wide color gamut and DCI-P3 coverage, guarantee strikingly life-like color, with bright whites and deep blacks. Both models are also equipped with high quality stereo sound to deliver crisp, sharp audio for watching movies and TV, playing video games or enjoying any other type of entertainment.
The Optoma UHD60 and UHD65 home projectors also feature vertical lens shift and a 1.6X zoom for easy installation, delivering an incredible 4K UHD image of up to 300 inches. With two HDMI and one HDCP 2.2 ports each, both projectors provide superior 4K UHD device and content compatibility options.
