OCTIV’S AWARD-WINNING VOLUME LOGIC FOR
DIGITAL JUKEBOXES NOW SHIPPING

Volume Logic Supports Windows Media Player, Real Player,
Musicmatch Jukebox, Nullsoft Winamp, as well as the Original iTunes

Pump up the Volume with Volume Logic Real-Time Digital Remastering

Berkeley, CA, March 21, 2005 — Octiv, the digital audio innovator, announced today that the award-winning Volume Logic digital remastering software for iTunes is now shipping for Windows Media Player, Real Player, Musicmatch Jukebox, and Nullsoft Winamp priced at $19.95 for each player. Volume Logic for these players is available for download at the Octiv site at http://www.octiv.com/index.asp?content=VolumeLogicPlugins2 .

Announced in January 2004, Octiv Volume Logic for iTunes was the first audio digital re-mastering plug-in for the Apple iTunes player. Now available for more players, Volume Logic lets music lovers hear their favorite music with high-quality sound every time — even when listening on puny computer speakers. Volume Logic has won awards and accolades from numerous industry magazines, such as Pen Computing Magazine, “Top 10 iPod Accessories Award,” Macworld Magazine, MacAddict, and more.

“The results are amazing. With Volume Logic turned on, a cheap set of computer speakers sounds better, and a good set of speakers sounds superb,” said Jim Heid, Macworld, April 2004. Octiv Volume Logic improves the quality of the listening experience by digitally remastering audio in real-time with the same technology used by the pros in the music and broadcast business. Any play-list can sound professionally produced with automatic adjustment of volume dynamics and spectral balancing by Volume Logic.

Volume Logic incorporates a state-of-the-art 5-band dynamics processor that examines and adjusts the audio thousands of times a second. Low levels are intelligently raised and loud signals are kept under control, all in real-time. Anything playing in Volume Logic-compatible players, including MP3s, Internet radio, or CDs, will be digitally remastered for consistent volume level and spectral balance. Files are not scanned or modified. All the audio processing takes place in real-time while the audio is sent to your speakers or headphones.

Volume Logic for Windows Media Player, Real Player, Musicmatch Jukebox, and Nullsoft Winamp is available immediately at: http://www.octiv.com/index.asp?content=VolumeLogicPlugins2
priced at $19.95/each player. For more information, see Octiv’s web site: www.octiv.com.
