T-Mobile are the sixth mobile phones network to release the new N96 from the Nokia N-Series, this full multimedia handset was first launched on O2 and Orange before being made available as a SIM free device and more recently joining Vodafone and the dedicated 3G network 3 Mobile.
This is one of the fastest handset rollouts this year mainly due to the hype surrounding the launch of this new top end mobile phone it is not surprising that retailers and networks wanted to have this extremely sought after device in their product portfolio as soon a physically possible.
With this in mind the Nokia N96 now has a multitude of tariffs, packages and deals from all the networks making it far easier to match a consumers usage requirements, all of the networks offer different tariffs with varying free inclusive minutes and text messages along with scaled line rental charges.
The Nokia N series range of mobile phones just gets better and better, with the slimmer, big-screened Nokia N96 on T-Mobile. With a massive 16GB memory and a microSD slot to extend that even more, you’ll have room to store all your music, photos and videos. The Nokia N96 has got everything you need for music – an MP3 player, FM radio, stereo speakers and more music to download from Mobile Jukebox. The 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss lens and autofocus will give you camera-quality pictures.
The 2.8 inch screen with 16 million colours promises a superb viewing experience, whether you’re viewing your photos and videos, watching Mobile TV or surfing the internet. The Nokia N96 is HSDPA enabled, giving you super fast internet speeds for browsing the web or checking your emails, and you can use it as a modem for mobile broadband on your laptop.
There is only one payment scheme left and one network left to pick up the new Nokia N96, these being the pay as you go scheme and the Virgin Mobile network, seeing as T-Mobile now have the phone on their books and Virgin being a virtual network of T-Mobile it will only be a matter of time before they too launch this high specification handset.
It looks as thought the retailers will be holding off on releasing the N96 as a pay as you go ‘Prepay’ mobile phone, in no small part due to the profit margins being far greater from consumers taking up contract packages, however for those people that struggle to pass a network credit check or who prefer the prepay system the wait should not be too long.
