Niles Goes Factory Direct in Canada

Premier Custom Installation Company Moves to Direct Distribution to Deliver Complete Assortment, Just in Time Delivery and Beneficial Dealer Programs

MIAMI, FLORIDA — May 29, 2007 — Niles Audio Corporation, The First Name in Custom Installation, announced today that the company has moved to factory-direct distribution in Canada as part of an ongoing strategy to maximize the availability of its products globally. Having previously been served by an independent Canadian distributor, Niles will now sell directly to Canadian dealers. Effectively immediately, product will be sold by a network of independent Canadian sales representatives and shipped directly to Canadian dealers from Niles’ new distribution warehouse located near Toronto. By going direct, Niles now offers more competitive pricing, the complete Niles product assortment, just-in-time delivery, factory direct service and technical support coupled with the most comprehensive dealer support programs available.

“Niles will be the world’s leading provider of reliable, application-specific products that enable professional custom installers to design and install systems that delight their customers,” said Mike “Sparky” Detmer, vice president of sales and marketing for Niles. “Our strategy of selling direct to Canadian dealers supports our world leadership vision,” Detmer added.

Sales representation in Canada will be handled by the ITC In Tandem Canada, an independent firm which specializes in the custom installation industry. “ITC has been a preeminent rep firm in Canada for 13 years,” said Simon Spears, Niles international sales manager. “ITC’s ability to provide extensive service and product support makes them the perfect fit to represent Niles in the Canadian marketplace,” Spears added.

“We are delighted to be appointed as the sales representatives for Canada,” commented Terry Hawco, president and co-founder of ITC. “ITC is committed to setting new levels of service, training and support for Canadian customers,” Hawco added.

ITC In Tandem Canada was founded in 1994 as a manufacturers’ representative that provides field sales service for multiple manufacturers of complementary products in the consumer electronics industry. The firm just expanded operations with main offices located in Guelph, Ontario and can be contacted at 519-837-8253.
