Nextar™, a designer and marketer of bold and new consumer electronic products with mass appeal, has announced that two sku’s of its fun Ribbit MP3 player are part of a big Easter promotion giant retailer Toys “R” Us, Inc. is running. The 1GB units support both MP3 and WMA files, have voice-recording capability, and feature a durable OLED display. They are available in both green (PT 375C) and pink (PT 212C) with a SRP of $24.99 each.

The easy-to-use Nextar ‘Ribbit’ MP3 players come with five play modes (normal, repeat one, repeat all, folder, repeat folder). An eight-mode equalizer (normal, rock, pop, classical, bass, jazz, soft, and SRS WOW) assures excellent audio reproduction. Units also have a high-speed USB 2.0 interface, play-list function, and support for seven languages (including English, Spanish, and Chinese simplified).

An innovative, low power-using OLED display provides brighter, clearer images and faster response time than most other display technologies. It is easily viewable from virtually limitless angles.

A built-in rechargeable Lithium Ion battery provides power. Up to six hours of continuous playback can be achieved with a fully charged battery. The models are fully upgradeable to any future formats and features. Accessories for both include earphone, USB cable, instruction manual, and an installation CD.

The units measure 1.5″ x 1.3″ x 0.9″ and weigh just 0.8 oz.
