OXNARD, Calif., (December 15, 2006) — Scosche Industries, an innovator of mobile electronic products and accessories for the aftermarket, today announced it is shipping an all-new OEM (original equipment manufacturer) Auxiliary Input interface. This highly anticipated interface is designed for 2007-up Chevrolet and GMC vehicles. With this new interface, consumers can now upgrade their factory radios without replacing the entire unit.
“Consumers want choices,” said Kas Alves, vice president, sales and marketing, Scosche Industries, “and our new interfaces allow consumers to upgrade their factory radios the way they want. We are proud to bring another first-to-market product with our newest GM interface.”
The primary function of Scosche’s auxiliary input interfaces is to allow integration with a factory head-unit enabling connectivity with an external audio source. Scosche’s new interface is no exception.
Scosche’s new interface, the AXIPGMLAN, is an auxiliary input interface that integrates full iPod functionality through the OEM factory radio with 30-pin docking cable. The interface allows full text scrolling, full iPod menu navigation, seek up and down and volume control through the factory radio. The interface also includes an additional universal RCA audio input for other Mp3 player, DVD player or video game console. The AXIPGMLAN will retain the factory OnStar, and XM radio features if equipped.
The interface is a plug-n-play installation with all the necessary harnesses included in a stylish, installer-friendly compact design.
Scosche’s new AXIPGMLAN allows greater control and consumer choices for an aftermarket installation.
This new product is now shipping and will be available at specialty retailers across the country. The suggested retail price of the AXIPGMLAN is $199.00. Visit www.scosche.com for more information on these and other custom kit, factory fit products.
