New KODAK EASYSHARE C–Series Digital Cameras Combine Compact Design, Simplicity and Outstanding Image Quality

Affordable C643, C533 Cameras Designed to Deliver High-Quality Images for Entry Level Enthusiasts

ROCHESTER, NY, Feb. 17 — Eastman Kodak Company today announced the EASYSHARE C643 and C533 zoom digital cameras that combine Kodak’s hallmark ease-of-use, quality and value, making it possible for entry-level picture takers to capture, share, organize and print pictures.
“Kodak’s new C-Series cameras provide users new to photography with tools to capture and share their memories,” said Mary Hadley, general manager of digital cameras for Kodak’s Consumer Digital Imaging Group. “The C643 and C533 are designed to give people the opportunity to get the best quality pictures beginning with their very first shot.”
The new KODAK EASYSHARE C643 Digital Camera is an all-purpose solution for users who seek compact design and exceptional value — 6.1-megapixel resolution, 3x optical zoom lens and 5x digital zoom, large 2.4” LCD color display, 30 fps TV-quality video (VGA) with audio capture, and a wealth of on-camera picture-enhancing features.
An ideal entry-point camera to the popular KODAK EASYSHARE System, the new 5.0-megapixel C533 boasts a 3X optical zoom lens and 5X digital zoom, 1.8” indoor/outdoor color display and on-camera cropping.
The cameras operate with common AA alkaline batteries, or, for longer life, with optional Kodak Oxy-Alkaline, Ni-MH rechargeable, and high power lithium digital camera batteries. In addition, useful features such as undo-delete (to restore an image just deleted) and internal memory plus (to easily switch from a full memory card to internal camera memory) are included on both cameras and are aimed at making sure that users get the best possible pictures.

The KODAK EASYSHARE C643 (US$229 MSRP) will be available worldwide beginning in April 2006 and the C533 (US$179 MSRP) will be available worldwide beginning in June 2006.
Making the EASYSHARE System Connection
C-Series camera owners can quickly print KODAK 4 x 6-inch pictures at home with just one touch in as little as 60 seconds, using the KODAK EASYSHARE Printer Dock Plus Series 3. The Series 3 printer docks support the IMAGELINK print system, working with latest EASYSHARE cameras and other manufacturers’ compatible cameras. The EASYSHARE printer docks also transfer pictures to a connected computer, and recharge the cameras’ batteries. Pictures made from EASYSHARE printer docks are vibrant, borderless, waterproof, stain resistant, and will last a lifetime, under typical photo album display conditions.
The line of EASYSHARE printer docks makes printing simple, with no cables required between camera and printer. Their convenience, print speed, ease-of-use and phenomenal picture quality have resulted in overwhelming demand from picture takers worldwide, with the line having achieved the number one market position in the United States, Australia and the United Kingdom, according to The NPD Group and GfK.
The KODAK EASYSHARE digital photography system consists of cameras, snapshot printers, services, docks, software, inkjet and thermal photo papers, and accessories, making taking, organizing, sharing, and printing high quality digital pictures effortless.
