New Digital Photo Services Now at Select Rite Aid Stores

One-Hour Prints from Digital Now Available on RITEAID.COM; One-Time-Use Digital Cameras Also Available

CAMP HILL, Pa. – Starting today customers at more than 800 Rite Aid (NYSE, PCX:RAD) stores on the West Coast and in Harrisburg, PA can upload, edit and order digital pictures on http://www.RITEAID.com and pick up the prints at their local Rite Aid store in just one hour.

In just a few easy steps customers can select pictures saved on their computer, or upload new pictures on to the One Hour Picture Center on http://www.RITEAID.com, crop, zoom, adjust the color, add special effects like changing a color picture to black and white, and preview the result. By using a zip code, the customer can then send the selected pictures to print at a local Rite Aid store where the pictures will be ready for pick up in one hour. Rite Aid plans to roll out this technology to an additional 700 stores in New York City, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Detroit and Portland, ME by the end of the year.

“This new service offers our customers a convenient way to get digital prints quickly at any Rite Aid across the country,” said Bryan Shirtliff, senior vice president of category management. “Customers do not need to register or become a member on our site; they can simply upload and edit their pictures on any computer with internet access and then pick them up in just one hour at a nearby Rite Aid store.”

Two new one-time-use digital cameras are also now available at more than 800 Rite Aid stores on the West Coast and in Harrisburg. The one-time-use digital camera with delete feature ($9.99) allows customers to take digital photos and delete any unwanted shots. The one-time-use digital camera with picture preview ($19.99) allows customers to preview each picture on a screen and delete any unwanted shots. Both cameras include red eye removal, auto flash, and a self timer.
