Munitio announced their first over-ear headphone, the PRO40, which offers a studio-grade audio experience with CODA AXIS in-line gimbal technology that provides each ear-cup a full range of motion to maximize comfort without disturbing the speaker drivers. Extremely low mass dynamic 40mm titanium-coated drivers require less power to move, allowing for higher volume at lower power. Additionally, titanium has no magnetic force, allowing for cleaner driver motion which maintains signal purity.
Neodymium magnets ensure pure sound reproduction; low frequencies sound expressive-not overpowering-with full mids and exceptionally clean highs. The PRO40 also features the proprietary Bass Enhancing Chamber for accurate bass without distortion. Premium materials give the PRO40s both strength and comfort-rugged aircraft-grade aluminium with a polymer band delivers a snug fit for enjoyable listening with maximum noise isolation.
The PRO40 comes with a three-button mic control cable and a 24K gold-plated 3.5 mm stereo plug to maintain signal purity and call functionality. A free coil cable and 1/4″ adapter are also available via MUNITIO.com for PRO40 owners. Each PRO40 includes a hard-shell case with D-ring and carabineer for protection and portability.
Munitio developed the PRO40 with input from DJs, studio professionals and other industry pros. With ultra-soft protein leather and CODA AXIS in-line gimbal technology, the PRO40 ear cups provide comfort and natural range of motion without performance disruption.
Daniel Massaro, Munitio founder and the PRO40’s lead designer says, “I’ve spent the last couple years working with DJs, studio engineers and other music industry professionals to learn what’s most important to them in a premium headphone design. The PRO40s are a direct reflection of the feedback they’ve provided and the personal testing we’ve done with the most demanding headphone users.”
