Mitsubishi Brings Undersized MiniMits XD80U Projector with Oversized Features to Mobile Professional and Home Users
Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America’s Presentation Products Division, known for its award-winning, high-quality presentation and display products, today introduced its latest tiny projector, the MiniMits XD80U. Smaller than a laptop computer (1.8″ H x 7.3″ W x 6.9″ L) and weighing less than three pounds, the new MiniMits blasts 1500 ANSI lumens, making it the perfect presentation companion for mobile professionals and home theater enthusiasts.
“Our XD80U is smaller and lighter than most laptops, making it perfect for the mobile presenter,” said Frank Anzures, manager, projector product marketing for Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America.
Mitsubishi’s XD80U’s unique Dual Color mode provides complete adaptability for business and home environments. In Dynamic mode, users can select color levels needed to maximize their color presentations and imaging content; Vivid mode allows them to switch from a four-segment (RGBW) to a six-segment color wheel (RGBRGB), which amplifies colors to create rich video images. The XD80U’s additional color adjustments, such as white balance, color temperature and gamma controls, allow the most discerning users to fine-tune their presentations for maximum effectiveness.
Powered by Texas Instruments Digital Light Processing technology, Mitsubishi’s XD80U is available directly and online through authorized dealers at a suggested retail price of $1,995. The projector comes with Mitsubishi’s three-year limited warranty on parts and labor plus a 90-day limited warranty on the lamp. Like all Mitsubishi Digital XGA projectors, the XD80U is covered by the Express Replacement Assistance (ERA) Program, a nationwide comprehensive service provided for units under warranty that offers next- business-day replacement for down units.
