CyberLink MagicDirector 2 is an automated video editing plug-in designed for the remote-controlled environment of Vista Media Center and CyberLink PowerCinema. After registering an account on the MediaMax site, users can use a remote control to create a complete video with MagicDirector’s automatic editing styles then upload the file directly to their own personal MediaMax account for viewing, remote storage, anywhere access, and for privately sharing videos with family and friends over the Internet. MagicDirector 2 is available to consumers today.

“We are excited to collaborate with CyberLink to offer their MagicDirector customers more options for sharing their personal videos than ever before,” said Adrian Herrera, Streamload’s Director of Business Development. “By incorporating MediaMax, including 25 GBs of free online storage, MagicDirector users can now easily preserve, manage and privately share their digital videos on the web.”

“The web is really the next frontier for sharing personal content, giving our customers a ready-made platform for publishing their videos to the world,” said Alice H. Chang, CEO of CyberLink. “We’re happy to work with Streamload to integrate a complete process for directly uploading videos to the web via MagicDirector.”

Built on the Streamload Web Services Open Media Network, MediaMax and the new upload application incorporated into MagicDirector, allow CyberLink customers to utilize Streamload’s scalable online storage and file-sharing system, which currently processes more than 750,000 user uploads and 3 million shared files per day.
